Match Tickets

Season 2007-2008

General information

Booking tickets through the London Clarets

For some games (mostly away League matches and some Cup fixtures), Burnley FC very kindly allocates to us a small quota of match tickets. We then make these tickets available to our membership via a simple booking procedure. Please see below for details of matches currently booking, and be sure to read the important notes before you place your order!

The ticket-booking facility is only available to paid-up London Clarets. It's easy to join us (or renew your membership) - take a look at our Membership page.

Home matches

For most home matches, you will need to obtain your ticket directly from Burnley FC. More details are available on the Burnley FC official website, or from the Ticket Office on 0870 443 1914. Tickets are available on the day for most home games, but please do check in advance.

Clarets Numbers and Loyalty Points

Since the implementation of a new ticketing system at the Club, anyone who buys a match ticket(s) from Burnley FC can acquire his or her own unique Clarets Number. Quoting your Clarets Number will allow you to collect Loyalty Points for ticket purchases; Loyalty Points totals may be used by Burnley FC to ensure that those supporters who attend most matches are offered limited-availability tickets first. Supporters in possession of a valid Clarets Number can also purchase match tickets - and season tickets - online.

Please be aware that if you book tickets through the London Clarets, any Loyalty Points will be awarded to us as a supporters' club rather than to you as an individual. If you wish to continue getting your 'own' points, you must book your ticket yourself directly with Burnley FC.

Now booking

(All matches are away League games unless otherwise stated.)

Important - please read: because of copyright restrictions imposed by the Football League, we are no longer able to display full fixture information on this page. We are therefore only showing month and opposition. We apologise for this ridiculous situation, over which we have no control and no influence. To check dates and times, please therefore visit the Fixtures page on the Burnley FC official website.

Please also supply your London Clarets membership number. Please then supply payment and, if you would like your ticket(s) posted to you, a first class SAE. (Please note that tickets will not be posted until both the SAE and payment have been received; the SAE must be supplied in good time for posting. For some matches you might be able to pay me and/or collect your tickets in person - please ask for details.) Finally, please note that any payments made by post (as opposed to in person) should be made by cheque; cheques should be made payable to BFCLSC and the fixture written on the back.

**Please be sure to specify exactly which ticket(s) you require, as the categories for this game are quite complicated.**

Thank you for your co-operation in helping to make the ticket-ordering process as efficient as possible.

Important notes

Please read the following before making a booking:

  • Once a game is booking, and you're sure that you want to go to it, please get your ticket request in as soon as possible. This enables me to gauge demand for tickets and if necessary (where this is possible) request more from Burnley FC.
  • You must book by the specified deadline. Booking periods can't be extended, as after the closing time I have to immediately confirm our requirements with Burnley FC.
  • If you book at the same time for more than one game and pay by cheque, you must provide a separate cheque for each match.
  • Any cancellations must be made before the deadline. Otherwise you will be liable for the full cost of the tickets(s) you have ordered.
  • Any tickets sent through the post are mailed at the recipient's own risk. Tickets will be posted at least five working days before the fixture whenever possible, but the London Clarets cannot accept responsibility for lost or delayed tickets. Alternatively, for most games people will be able to collect their tickets on matchdays from the meeting pub, details of which will be announced before the fixture to our email list. (This option will be available for most fixtures, although there may be exceptions.) Please be aware that (to avoid problems with police and stewards, and also to avoid people having to wait around) tickets will not normally be distributed outside the ground.
  • We do our best to supply tickets to everyone who wants them, but we can't make any guarantees. Obviously, ticket numbers are finite, and there will be times when demand exceeds supply. At such times, a 'one member one ticket' rule will be enforced. When the situation demands, additional priority will be given to members who travel on our organised matchday trips or who regularly book match tickets. This is to ensure that the allocation process is as fair as possible. Should we be unable to obtain you a ticket(s), we will let you know as soon as possible.
  • We will try to fulfil occasional requests for tickets for members' families and friends, but please see the preceding note. Also, we would hope that anyone who wants tickets more frequently joins us in his or her own right!
